Show host, Orie Givens IV is a buckeye-born, New York City educated journalist and communications professional. He received his masters of arts in journalism from the city university of new york and has reported on-air, in print and online for a variety of mainstream and LGBT-focused outlets in the US and Canada. Show host, SaRea Surmon, is an avid world traveler, lover of arts, culture, music and all things queer. She joins QueerMinded as a novice to radio, but isn’t afraid to speak out and ask the tough questions. The Columbus, Ohio native graduated from Kent State University in 2006 with a BA in Spanish and International Relations, and works a major corporations as a project manager.
